Salon d'Automne 2026 sets up its pavilions on place de la Concorde

The Salon d'Automne 2026, its 123rd edition, runs from Wednesday 28 October to Sunday 1 November 2026 in temporary pavilions on place de la Concorde, in the 8th arrondissement. This year's patron is the French novelist Gilles Legardinier.

The organisers announce more than 1,000 works over 4,000 m², by artists of 48 nationalities: painting, sculpture, printmaking, drawing, photography, architecture, digital art and artists' books. Paintings are grouped by family (abstraction, figuration, naive art and more), so you can head straight for what you like.

Unlike an art fair, this is a salon run by artists since 1903: many of them stand by their work and most pieces are for sale. It was here, in 1905, that Matisse and his friends were nicknamed the Fauves (the wild beasts).

Tickets are €16, €8 for ages 12 to 26, free under 12, for art students and jobseekers (reduced and free tickets on site, with proof). Full-price tickets are also sold online on HelloAsso.

Open Wednesday to Saturday 11am–8pm, Sunday 11am–6pm, last entry 30 minutes before closing. Single entrance on place de la Concorde, opposite the Hôtel de la Marine: Metro Concorde (lines 1, 8 and 12).
