On Friday 30 October, the Musée de l'Homme (the museum of humankind, at Trocadéro) reopens after closing time, for adults only. A mysterious specimen has escaped from a laboratory. You set off in a team, phone in hand, between the skulls and the display cases.
A mobile app guides you: follow the traces, solve the riddles, collect the clues. You have to identify the intruder and work out what it wants before time runs out. Allow 90 minutes; groups leave every 15 minutes between 7.45pm and 10pm.
On Saturday 31 October and Sunday 1 November, it is the families' turn. Trouille (French slang for fear), a friendly little alarm, takes children aged 6 and over through six challenges: observe, test, understand what fear is for and how to calm it. It lasts 45 minutes and an adult takes part with them.
The Friday evening costs €15. The family trail is €5 per person on top of the museum ticket. Everything is booked by time slot, and the evening event is not accessible to visitors with reduced mobility.
