Grünt Festival brings French independent rap back to La Villette

Grünt Festival, now in its 5th edition, takes place on Friday 30 and Saturday 31 October 2026 at the Grande Halle de la Villette, the 19th-century iron-and-glass hall in the 19th arrondissement. It is run by Grünt, a Paris rap media outlet known for its filmed freestyle sessions.

The line-up is still being announced. Friday: 55Asky, Al-Walid, Bu$hi, Darlingchouchou, (D)Juno, Gal and LeDouble, Huitballe, Isha and Limsa d'Aulnay, Jäde, Saïf. Saturday: Asfar Shamsi, Ben PLG, Caballero, Cash Crime, Cherry Pie, Ino Casablanca, Jaymee, Kekra, LinLin, Realo and Deelee S, Ruccie and Luvbfk.

Tickets are going fast: as of 8 October, Saturday and the two-day pass are sold out on the official ticketing page, with a waiting list and fan-to-fan resale in the Shotgun app. Friday tickets start at €59. You have to be over 16 to get in.

Doors open at 4pm on Friday 30 October and the festival ends at midnight on Saturday; Saturday's opening time has not been announced yet. Take Metro line 5 or tram 3b to Porte de Pantin: the hall is right across the road.
