Halloween on rue de la Folie Méricourt: a shop-to-shop hunt and a costume parade

Halloween à la Folie Méricourt is back on Saturday 31 October 2026, from 10.30am to 7pm, on rue de la Folie Méricourt in the 11th arrondissement. It is run by La Folie d'Amour, the street's shopkeepers' association.

How it works: you sign up online, pick up your booklet on the day at Les Imprimeuses, at number 4, then walk the street looking for the intruders hidden in the shops. The City of Paris listing places the hunt between numbers 1 and 62. The booklet costs €3 per sign-up and doubles as your entry to the prize draw; the association lists Hasbro, Moulin Roty and Tendance Papeterie as partners.

At 3pm there is a costume parade, with three prizes for the three best costumes. Last year the hunt was free and ran over two days; this year it all happens on the Saturday.

Getting there: the booklet pick-up at 4 rue de la Folie Méricourt is next to Metro Saint-Ambroise (line 9). Richard-Lenoir (line 5) and Oberkampf (lines 5 and 9) are a few minutes away on foot.
