On 25 October, YARD, the wine bar on rue de Mont-Louis, throws its fourth natural wine festival. More than 35 winemakers, producers and artisans from Alsace, the Loire, Beaujolais, the Rhône and Italy, and more than 150 wines to taste with the people who made them.
This year, Jean Foillard comes for the first time: a historic name in natural Beaujolais, from Morgon. Around him, names like Le Coste, Cyril Alonso, Philippe Chatillon, Nicolas Chemarin, Jean-Pierre Robinot and Sept Winery.
On the food side, Terroirs d'Avenir runs the whole spread: Kintoa ham, Normandy oysters, Banka trout, Cantabrian anchovies, cheeses. A guest chef takes over the kitchen, and three DJs take turns all day.
Entry is €25 (free for kids): you get an engraved glass, and all the tastings at the stands are included. Take Metro line 2 to Philippe Auguste or line 9 to Charonne. It runs 11am–7pm, and you can step out and come back whenever you like.
