The Tuileries Christmas market, also known as La Magie de Noël, runs from 6 November 2026 to 8 January 2027 in the Jardin des Tuileries, the garden between the Louvre and Place de la Concorde (1st arrondissement). That is more than two weeks earlier than last year, when it opened on 15 November.

It is half market, half funfair. Last year you had around 80 wooden chalets, gifts from French makers, rides for small children and for thrill-seekers, a Ferris wheel and an ice rink of about 250 m². The 2026 list of stalls has not been published yet, and the rink is still to be confirmed.

For food, past editions lined up regional French specialities: Alsace, Brittany, Savoie, Auvergne, the French Caribbean. Photos from recent years show raclette sandwiches, pretzels and cured sausages, with a red carpet down every alley.

Entry is free; rides, shopping and food are paid. One tip: go on a weekday evening or in November, as December weekends are the busiest.

The 2026 opening hours have not been announced. Last year it was open every day from 11am to 11.45pm, closing early on 24 and 31 December. Take the metro to Tuileries (line 1) or Concorde (lines 1, 8 and 12).
