Ruinart sets its table at Cheval Blanc Paris, on quai du Louvre, for a second edition. From 15 to 25 October, it's one big shared table for 16 to 18 guests, with three-star chef Arnaud Donckele in charge.

On the menu: seven courses designed for seven cuvées, from the Blanc Singulier to the Dom Ruinart Rosé 1996. The chef brings what he does best: sauces, poured at the table over golden pasta, with the bottle set down right beside them.

There are six dinners and two lunches, at €890 per person. If your budget doesn't stretch that far, aim for the weekend masterclasses: “Signature Chardonnay” at €95, with three blanc de blancs champagnes and three bites from the chef, or “Cave des Millésimes” at €190 to taste three 2007 vintages.

Everything is booked online, and with so few seats, it goes fast. Metro Pont Neuf or Louvre-Rivoli. You have until 25 October.
