For the Semaine du goût, France's national week of taste, the Publicisdrugstore is setting the table again. Its Food & Wine Festival is back for a second edition: five days at the top of the Champs-Élysées, from 13 to 17 October.

Éric Frechon, the festival's patron from the start, returns. Amélie Darvas and Thomas Chisholm join him, along with Bruno Aubin, chef at LE Drugstore, and pastry chef Léna Thiam. At the restaurant, their signature dishes come as sharing plates.

This year's common thread is Proust's madeleine, the little cake that brings memories flooding back. The Drugstore's come out of the oven still warm, 8–11am and 3–6pm. And a food truck parks on rue Vernet (11:30am–3pm, not on Saturday) if you'd rather eat standing up.

Around it all: tastings, masterclasses, book signings and the “Tous les goûts ont une histoire” (every taste has a story) literary prize. Entry is free; masterclasses, kids' workshops and concerts are booked on publicisdrugstore.com. Get off at Charles-de-Gaulle-Étoile. You have five days, not one more.
