pop art car 2.0: Vasarely, Le Parc and a Renault 8 Gordini concept on the Champs-Élysées

pop art car 2.0 is a free exhibition running from 24 September 2026 to 31 January 2027 at le défilé renault, the carmaker's venue at 53 avenue des Champs-Élysées, in the 8th arrondissement. It is put together with the Renault Fund for Art and Culture.

On the art side, two French artists, Sébastien Preschoux and Popay, are shown alongside works by Victor Vasarely and Julio Le Parc. The thread is geometry, colour, repetition and movement. According to the exhibition notes, Preschoux and Popay also worked with the studio Bonjour Lab on animated digital pieces shown on the venue's large screens.

On the car side, you'll see the Renault 8 Gordini concept, a new take on the 1964 R8 Gordini with its double white stripe, plus a Renault 5 Turbo, the Renault 5 Turbo 3E, a 4CV, a JP4 and a Twingo handed to artist Joshua Vides. The official route has ten stops.

Free guided tours, with sign-up, are scheduled on Saturdays 31 October, 7 November, 12 December 2026 and 16 January 2027. DJ sets are announced on 23 October, 19 November, 17 December and 28 January.

Le défilé renault is open daily 10am–10pm and entry is free. Metro Franklin D. Roosevelt (lines 1 and 9). There is a café with a terrace on the avenue. On until 31 January.
