Le Grand Palais de Glace, the ice rink Parisians call Grand Palais des Glaces, returns from 13 December 2026 to 6 January 2027 under the glass roof of the Grand Palais, on avenue du Général-Eisenhower in the 8th arrondissement. The organiser announces 2,700 m² of ice and bills it as the largest indoor rink in the world.

You pick a session: morning from 10am to 1pm (€27, €15 for a child), afternoon from 2pm to 7pm (€32, €18 for a child) or the night session from 8pm to 1am, €39 for everyone. Skate hire is included, sizes 25 to 50, and you can bring your own. Gloves are compulsory on the ice.

There is a separate area for small children, and food on site: tartiflette (a melted cheese and potato dish), waffles, crêpes and hot chocolate. No outside food or drink, and the cloakroom only takes bags up to 30 x 40 x 20 cm. Photos from past editions show a giant mirror ball in the middle of the rink and the hall turning blue at night.

Tickets are sold online only, and the official site says the box office opens in mid-October. They cannot be exchanged or refunded, so choose your slot carefully.

Three sessions a day from 13 December to 6 January, 10am to 1am, closing at 6pm on 24 and 31 December. Metro Champs-Élysées-Clemenceau (line 1) or Franklin-Roosevelt (line 9).
