Technopol is doing it again, for a 14th edition. Paris Electronic Week is when the city's electronic music scene sits down to talk about itself, then goes dancing.
It kicks off on 30 September at Point Éphémère, by the canal on quai de Valmy. There's a free afternoon reserved for FLINTA people (women, lesbian, intersex, non-binary, trans and agender), masterclasses, a talk open to all, then a club night with the Femme Bass Mafia collective.
On 1 October, it's a live night at La Station – Gare des Mines. From 2 to 4 October, the convention moves to Mains d'Œuvres in Saint-Ouen, just north of Paris: beginner sessions in DJ mixing and music production, and panels on racism in clubs, consolidation in the industry and venues as welcoming spaces. Petit Bain completes the circuit.
In all, 90 artists, six stages and 150 speakers. Daytime sessions are open to everyone; the nights are 18+ only. Passes (day, weekend or full festival) and night tickets are on Resident Advisor.
Your call: the talks, the nights, or both. It all wraps up on 4 October.
