Milia Matcha reopens its pop-up matcha bar at La Samaritaine, banana edition

Milia Matcha is back at La Samaritaine, the department store by the Pont Neuf, from 3 October to 1 November 2026 with a pop-up matcha bar on the ground floor of the Nouveau Bâtiment (the newer building). Milia Matcha is the matcha tea brand founded by French content creator Andie Ella, which already has a permanent counter on level -1 of the store.

Last year the pop-up drink was cherry matcha. This time the menu is four lines long, according to La Samaritaine: Matcha Signature Banane, Matcha Signature Vanille, a vanilla entremets (layered mousse cake) and a matcha one. The banana matcha started as a limited edition in spring 2026 and has just joined the permanent range.

Drink prices are not announced. As a guide, the 2025 pop-up sold drinks for €6–8, according to the specialist site TheMatcha. In 2025 there was a queue every day, so a weekday morning is your best bet.

Getting there: daily 11am–7pm, no booking, until Sunday 1 November. La Samaritaine, 9 rue de la Monnaie, Nouveau Bâtiment side. Metro Pont Neuf (line 7) or Louvre-Rivoli (line 1). If you only want a tin of matcha, the permanent counter is on level -1, in the beauty hall.
