Le Bon Marché is spending the start of autumn in konbini mode. Super Japon is seven weeks in which the department store on rue de Sèvres dresses up as a Japanese convenience store, shelves and all.

For food, iRASSHAi lines up more than a thousand products (dashi, condiments, seaweed, snacks) and the Aki bakery brings out its melon pan, sweet Japanese buns. At the DOKI DOKI counter, they roll your temaki (hand rolls) to order, with sashimi, donburi rice bowls and matcha workshops.

The rest follows: manga, fanzines, art books, stationery sourced from LOFT, Tamagotchi, Monchhichi, arcade machines. For your wardrobe: embroidered sukajan bomber jackets, tabi socks, foldable rain boots. And a Tech Bijo beauty bar for LED and microcurrent treatments.

From 13 to 17 October, rare pieces by Japanese designers come out of the archives ahead of the Penelope's auction on 17 October at 3pm: Comme des Garçons, Issey Miyake, the Mona Lisa dress by Yasumasa Morimura.

Entry is free during store hours (Metro Sèvres-Babylone); workshops and the auction need registration on lebonmarche.com. You have until 18 October.
