The 48th Salon des Vins des Vignerons Indépendants (the independent winemakers' wine fair) runs from Thursday 10 to Sunday 13 December 2026 in Pavilion 7, level 2, of the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles exhibition centre, in the 15th arrondissement, two weeks before Christmas.

The idea is simple: you talk to the person who made the wine, and you buy straight from them. The organiser, Vignerons Indépendants de France, announces 653 exhibitors from every major French wine region, from Bordeaux to Burgundy, the Loire Valley to the Rhône. You get a tasting glass at the door (not for under-15s) and walk from stand to stand.

Not sure where to start? There are free introductory tasting sessions, no sign-up: turn up five minutes early. New for 2026, a one-hour workshop on wine-based cocktails with bartender Maxime Potfer, €25 including entry.

To carry it all home: trolleys are free for an hour and a half, then €5; there is a loading area for cars and a home delivery service. The cloakroom costs €2 per hanger. No pets, except assistance dogs and small dogs carried in a bag.

Open 10am–8pm Thursday to Saturday, 10am–7pm on Sunday. Take Metro line 12 or tram T2 or T3a to Porte de Versailles, then walk to Pavilion 7.
