Dalad's: We Are Ona serves a Thai dinner in two steel boats

Dalad's is the new pop-up restaurant by We Are Ona, the culinary studio founded by Luca Pronzato. It runs from 18 to 25 October 2026 in a secret location near Place de l'Étoile (the roundabout around the Arc de Triomphe), during the Art Basel Paris art fair.

The room is the artwork. According to We Are Ona, artist Rirkrit Tiravanija has designed two stainless-steel boats, a nod to Thai fishing boats, that work as communal tables. Steam pots are built into them, so the cooking happens among the guests. You sit side by side with strangers, up to 100 people per service.

Chef Dalad Kambhu announces Thai cooking that mixes traditional recipes, contemporary techniques and local produce. It is her third project with We Are Ona. The exact menu has not been published.

Lunch is a 4-course menu at €130, dinner an 8-course menu at €230. Drinks are extra and paid on site, by card only. You pay when you book, and tickets are final: no exchange, no refund.

Arrive between 12:30pm and 1:30pm for lunch, between 7:30pm and 8:30pm for dinner. The exact address, in the 17th arrondissement, comes with your booking. The closest station to the square is Charles de Gaulle-Étoile (Metro lines 1, 2, 6 and RER A).
