Bienvenue en Enfer (Welcome to Hell) returns to the Musée Rodin on Saturday 31 October 2026, from 7pm to 11.30pm. It is the fourth edition of the museum's Halloween night, and this year's theme is spiritualism.

Everything starts at The Gates of Hell, Rodin's monumental bronze in the garden, where readings and theatre scenes are performed, from Baudelaire to Victor Hugo. The museum then announces a lantern-lit walk through the grove, with optical illusions, and a circus performance around the pool where the Ugolino group stands.

Inside the Hôtel Biron (the 18th-century mansion that houses the collections), you draw a Tarot de Marseille card and it decides your route through the rooms. A workshop looks back at 19th-century spirit photography, the kind that made ghosts appear on the plate. There is also a photo studio, a pop-up bar and a shop.

You can come in costume; masks come off at the security check. The museum recommends the evening from age 13. If it rains, it still goes ahead.

Entry is by time slot every 30 minutes, last entry at 9.30pm, activities end at 11pm. Tickets online only: €27, €15 for under-26s from the EU. Musée Rodin, 77 rue de Varenne, Metro Varenne (line 13).
