Zombie Walk Paris 2026 sets off from Place de la République on 17 October

Zombie Walk Paris 2026 takes place on Saturday 17 October 2026. The meeting point is Place de la République at 1pm, according to the City of Paris events calendar, and the parade then heads to Place des Vosges through the Marais.

The idea is simple: you turn up made up as the undead, with fake blood, a grey face and torn clothes, and you walk slowly with everyone else. It is free and there is no registration. You can also stand on the pavement and watch the horde go by. The Paris tourist office says the parade sets off around 2pm.

This edition goes back to October and to its historic route. Last year the walk left from Place de la Bastille on 8 November 2025. One rule comes back every year from the organisers: no weapons and no realistic-looking replicas. Leave the plastic machete at home.

Meet on Saturday 17 October at 1pm, Place de la République, Metro République (lines 3, 5, 8, 9 and 11). The walk ends at Place des Vosges, ten minutes on foot from Metro Bastille and Saint-Paul.
