JAPAN Fes Night Market sets up on place Saint-Michel, in the 6th arrondissement, on Friday 6 and Saturday 7 November 2026, from 5pm to 10pm, according to the official JAPAN Fes calendar. It follows the evenings of 23 and 24 October at the Arc de Triomphe.

It works like a night market in Japan: you go from stall to stall and eat standing up or at the end of a shared table. The organiser announces Japanese food, music and activities; at earlier dates the stalls cooked takoyaki (octopus balls), yakisoba (fried noodles) and okonomiyaki (savoury pancakes) in front of you.

JAPAN Fes started in New York in 2016 and has been running in Paris for three years, according to the organiser. The list of stalls and the prices for November are not published: entry is free and you pay at each stall.

Getting there: Friday 6 and Saturday 7 November, 5pm–10pm, no booking. Metro Saint-Michel (line 4) or Cluny-La Sorbonne (line 10), RER B and C Saint-Michel Notre-Dame. The organiser does not give the exact spot on the square: look for the JAPAN Fes banners as you leave the station.
