The Bande de Créateurs pop-up is back at the Bastille Design Center on 10 and 11 October. More than 65 hand-picked French designers and craftspeople set up under the glass roof on boulevard Richard-Lenoir, in the 11th arrondissement.
Fashion, jewellery, leather goods, ceramics, homeware and furniture, illustration, games, zero waste, beauty. You talk directly to the people who make things, which makes a change from browsing shop shelves.
A food corner, a music line-up and cocktails keep the day going. Entry is free, and since 2014 the whole thing has been about buying responsibly.
Saturday 10am–8pm, Sunday 10am–7pm. Get off at Metro Saint-Ambroise (line 9) or Richard-Lenoir (line 5). Two days, not one more.
