The Serre Wangari is a glass-and-steel hall planted in the Docks de Saint-Ouen, just outside Paris. For three days, Ateliers d'Art de France sets up the second edition of Ob'Art Plaine Commune there.
Around forty craft studios from all over France, selected by a jury: ceramics, jewellery, glass, furniture, textiles, sculpture, tableware.
There are also live demonstrations of craft techniques, workshops for children, and Cafés Métiers d'Art (craft cafés) where you put your questions straight to the makers.
Friday and Saturday 11am–8pm, Sunday 11am–6pm; Metro Mairie de Saint-Ouen (lines 13 and 14). Entry is free, with no slot to book: just download your entry ticket in advance from the show's ticketing page (Weezevent).
You'll leave with a one-off piece, or just the urge to learn the potter's wheel.
