JAPAN Fes Night Market returns on Friday 23 and Saturday 24 October 2026 at the foot of the Arc de Triomphe, on place Charles-de-Gaulle. Two evenings of Japanese night market, 5pm to 10pm, free entry.
It works like a night market in Japan: you go from stall to stall, eat standing up or at the end of a shared table, and stay for the music. The organiser announces Japanese food, music and activities; at earlier dates the stalls cooked takoyaki (octopus balls), yakisoba (fried noodles) and okonomiyaki (savoury pancakes) in front of you.
JAPAN Fes started in New York in 2016 and has been running in Paris for three years. For 2026 the team announces 40 dates in the city. The official calendar already lists 6 and 7 November on place Saint-Michel, again 5pm to 10pm.
Getting there: Friday 23 and Saturday 24 October, 5pm–10pm, no booking. Metro and RER Charles de Gaulle-Étoile (lines 1, 2, 6 and RER A). The organiser does not give the exact spot around the square: look for the JAPAN Fes banners as you leave the station.
